Black Ops 2 Playable At GameStop Expo, More Attendees Announced
Posted on July 26, 2012 AT 01:28pm
If you want to get some hands-on demo time with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and you’re going to be in San Antonio, Texas on August 29th, there’s a convention you should probably check out. Anyone attending the upcoming GameStop Expo will have a “chance” to play Black Ops 2 at Activision’s booth, along with Skylanders Giants, if you’re not allowed to play M-rated games.
(Heh.)
God of War Ascension, Wonderbook: Book of Spells, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will also be playable at the show over at Sony’s PlayStation booth, so expect to walk across the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at least a few times during your visit. If you have one of those $100 VIP passes, you can at least take a breather in the event’s special VIP lounges, or else skip ahead a few spots in line if you don’t feel like waiting with the rest of the commoners.
GameStop also published an updated list of companies that will be attending their expo, also not all are guaranteed to have booths:
- Activision/Blizzard
- ASUS
- Electronic Arts
- Microsoft
- Nintendo
- NVIDIA
- Sony Computer Entertainment of America
- Take-2 Interactive
- Turtle Beach
- Ubisoft
- WB Games
Namco Bandai and Square Enix will also be at the event, so mark that down on your “to do” list, too.
If you weren’t at E3 this year in Los Angeles, this is also probably your best chance to get your hands on a Wii U before they start popping up in GameStop store or Best Buys. Although, you probably shouldn’t be so eager to touch the demo units anyway—those things are usually riddled with bacteria an hour into the show.
