A recent Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 leak finally confirms how many multiplayer maps we’ll be enjoying on launch day.
Despite developer Treyarch’s efforts to stop leaked copies from being accessible without a day-one update, some players are apparently still finding their way into the game. In a recent post to the official Black Ops 4 subreddit, user thunde-r revealed an image that shows all 14 maps included in the game at launch.
As we at EGM brought up last week, the map count had to be larger than the previously anticipated total of 11, given the several new maps that were recently revealed on Twitter. It is important to clarify, however, that not all of Black Ops 4‘s launch maps are new. Four of them are remakes from previous Black Ops games, which were the source of much of the original confusion. The game’s new iteration of Nuketown is not coming at launch but will hit the game sometime in November.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is launching October 12th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game’s PC preload on Battle.net is live today, October 9th.
