Call of Duty: Black Ops II was only officially revealed two days ago—and yet the game is already breaking records.

According to UK website MCV, Amazon has announced that one-day pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops II were three times higher than opening day pre-order for the original Black Ops.

Amazon UK video games manager Graham Chambers told MCV, “Set to be one of the biggest games of the year, it’s great to see so much enthusiasm and anticipation for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.”

Update: According to GameSpot, the game is doing even better here in the States. A representative for Amazon US told GameStop that first day pre-orders for Black Ops II were 10x pre-orders for the original Black Ops, and even beat the first day pre-orders for Modern Warfare 3 by “more than 30 percent”.

So, have you already pre-ordered Black Ops II? And here’s the big question: Will Black Ops II top Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in sales? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
