Call of Duty: Elite – Clan Operations Details and Screenshots

THE BUZZ: Call of Duty: Elite developer, Beachhead Studios, has released some new details and several new screenshots for Clan Operations.
Clan leaders will be able to enlist their clan in an operation via the Compete page on the Elite service.
On the Clan Operation details page, members can see XP rewards as well as the start and end times. Once a clan leader signs up for an operation all members will become enlisted. The details page also lists the prizes and badges that will be awarded, and the winning criteria. A winners podium will be displayed once the operation is over and a detailed breakdown of your clan’s performance can also be viewed.
If you earn a badge it will be displayed on your Clan Showcase page. The system is currently going through ”extensive testing” promised Beachhead. ”While we can’t give you a date on when it will be ready, it is getting closer every day,” the developer added.
EGM’s TAKE: The Clan Operations system actually seems like a fantastic idea. Usually clans just square off against one another in random matches but now they can directly compete against every other clan in order to earn actual rewards. Although the idea of earning a badge for a good performance doesn’t really add much weight, the XP gains should entice plenty of clans to enlist. Add to this a leaderboard system and clans finally have a place to show off. Will your clan be top of the pile?
