Call Of Duty: Elite Hit By Launch Problems
Posted on November 8, 2011 AT 06:14am
THE BUZZ: The Call of Duty: Elite service launched last night alongside Modern Warfare 3, however it appears that it has suffered a few teething problems.
The problems are mainly down to the number of people trying to access the service at the same time which is causing a number of errors whenever people try to access the service. ”We are aware of the issue,” said the Call of Duty Elite Twitter feed, “[The] surge of new Elite registrations is creating reg & login issues. Teams are working now to increase capacity.”
“Please note the “password” error on login is being caused by this registration load issue. You do not need to change your password.”
It appears that once you access the service then everything is working perfectly fine: ”Service is capturing all MW3 gameplay data. Data, heatmaps, and activity will be waiting for you upon registration.”
EGM’s TAKE: Hopefully these are just teething problems and can be rectified quickly before fans start to get restless.
