Activision and Infinity Ward have announced a new game mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts during Microsoft’s Gamescom showcase event.

Blitz Mode sees two teams attacking and defending zones at either end of a map. If a player from the opposing team makes it to your zone then they score a point and are instantly warped back to their end of the field. The new mode will be playable at Gamescom.

The publisher also confirmed that Europe will be getting an Xbox One bundle which includes a digital copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts and “bonus content.” He also reiterated that all new multiplayer maps would be coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One first.
