Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts players will be getting a double XP launch weekend.

Running from Friday, November 8 until Monday, November 11, the event will allow players to earn twice the experience that they normally would. Players will also be able to transfer their experience earned from the current-gen version to the next-gen when it launches.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to release November 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC. A PlayStation 4 release is scheduled for November 15 and the Xbox One version will arrive alongside the console in November.
