Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is attempting to keep players hooked with free content updates in addition to its paid DLC.
Infinite Warfare‘s February Community Update will include the ability for players to rotate their combat rigs 360-degrees for a better view of the characters. The post-match Winner’s Circle is also getting an adjustment by depicting players holding the last weapon they used in the match, giving players some minor influence on the look of their victory.
An emblem editor was expected to launch for the game sometime this month, but it’s launch has now been pushed to mid-March for additional testing. The total quantity of new features in this update may now seem anemic, but developer Infinity Ward has promised “new content on a regular basis to keep gameplay fresh.”
Specific future changes expected for the game include a new mission team with respective gear, Prestige level increases, new scorestreak features, and more. Unfortunately, these additions don’t currently have release windows.
As for the monetized side of Infinite Warfare‘s DLC plans, the Sabotage expansion recently launched for PlayStation 4, with an Xbox One and PC launch expected at the end of the month.
