Americans won’t be the only ones fighting alongside the player in Call of Duty: WWII, as two new trailers show off some of the European allies that will join us.
Our first ally from across the pond is Major Arthur Crowley, a British Special Operations Executive whose expertise in sabotage and espionage will be crucial for success. Not every problem can be solved by running in guns blazing, which is why Crowley’s skills will be valuable in the fight ahead.
France has its own operative to offer, known only by the codename Rousseau. Rousseau has lost everything in the war, giving her everything to gain by fighting back, which is handy when you’re leading the French Resistance.
These two personalities will be assisting the player’s squad in their fight through Europe. Fans were introduced to the four main squad members in several recent trailers, all of which are part of WWII‘s week of single-player coverage. There is one more day of coverage to go, which will focus on the game’s “real battles” and “real history.”
Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
