Sledgehammer Games has released the second in its new series of map briefings for Call of Duty: WWII‘s upcoming The War Machine DLC.
The video takes a look at the V2 multiplayer map, one of the three new maps being added to the game that takes place on a hidden island in the middle of the Baltic Sea. Lead artist Matt Abbott and multiplayer level designer Gabriel Galaz go over sight lines, spawn points, strategies, and more.

Last week, the developer showed off another of the maps included in the DLC: Egypt. The War Machine also includes a new multiplayer map based on the iconic battle at Dunkirk, a new War Mission titled Operation Husky that is set around the Allied invasion of Sicily, and a new Zombies chapter titled The Shadowed Throne chapter that sees players fighting off the undead in Berlin.
In other news, Sledgehammer recently announced that it will be significantly overhauling Call of Duty: WWII‘s Divisions system in an upcoming update.
Call of Duty: WWII – The War Machine is scheduled to launch April 10th on PlayStation 4, with an Xbox One and PC release expected in May.
