Call of Duty

Call of Duty: WWII‘s Nazi Zombies survival mode features a variety of undead that players must face, and developer Sledgehammer Games just gave fans a new look at three of them.

Studio co-founder Glen Schofield recently took to Twitter to grace fans with fresh screenshots of some of the zombies we will be killing en masse later this year. The first two images Schofield posted appear to depict basic zombie grunts, but the third looks a little more sinister. It sports a gas mask and eye-wear, suggesting that it could be impervious to certain forms of incapacitation, with a helmet that can likely withstand more than a few bullets.

Fans still don’t know much about WWII‘s elusive Zombies survival mode. Recent developer interviews have given fans a general idea of the enemies and challenges they can expect, but gameplay for the mode is still under wraps.

Schofield has been fairly active on Twitter lately, recently teasing the length of WWII‘s single-player campaign. When asked by a fan to compare it to the campaign length of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Schofield offered our first real take on how long WWII will be.

Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. PC players interested in the shooter’s multiplayer can look forward to its open beta dropping later this week.
