This year’s Call of Duty: WWII will apparently support 4K visuals on the Xbox One X for those willing to shell out for it.
On a Game UK retail listing for the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: WWII, fans can see several tags in the top right corner of the game’s box art image. Upon closer inspection, these tags read “4K Ultra HD” and “Xbox One X Enhanced”, meaning that WWII will get a notable visual boost on the Xbox One X.
Most of Call of Duty: WWII‘s promotional focus has been centered around the PlayStation 4, and while the PS4 version will get similar visual support on the PS4 Pro, we now know that the Xbox One will get equal attention.
In other WWII news, a week of single-player coverage for the shooter recently concluded. After months of multiplayer talk, fans finally got a deeper look into the game’s story campaign with a new trailer, several character vignettes, and a documentary short on the game’s historical inspiration.
Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Xbox One X, meanwhile, will launch on November 7th.
