THE BUZZ: Concept art from Obsidian’s cancelled Aliens RPG has appeared online showcasing a number of environments that would have appeared in the game.

The title was penned as a third-person action RPG being developed at Obsidian, and was due to be published by Sega for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, but the project never quite got off the ground. According to Obsidian the game was pretty much ready to ship when it was cancelled.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s always sad to see a game get cancelled, especially one that showed so much promise.
