Capcom Nabs Original Voice Cast for DuckTales Remastered

Posted on March 24, 2013 AT 09:54am

On the company’s “Ask Capcom” forum thread, senior vice-president Christian Svensson revealed the entire voice cast from the DuckTales cartoon will be reprising their roles in the upcoming HD remake.

“We have ALL the original voice actors from the show,” Svensson wrote. “Scrooge’s voice actor [Alan Young]  is now 94 years old but he still came into the studio and did his thing like a pro. The voice work really adds a lot to the package.”

DuckTales Remastered will be available for download sometime this summer on the Wii U eShop, XBLA, and PSN. The title is an HD remake of the NES/Game Boy DuckTales game released in 1990.
