THE BUZZ: Capcom is offering replacement sleeves to anyone who is annoyed by the type discovered on the box of Resident Evil Revelations for the 3DS.
Early copies of the game feature the misspelled ”Resident Evil Revelaitons” on the sleeve. Capcom promised that this error will only be present on first run copies of the game and that anyone can get a replacement sleeve straight from them.
“Customers who have received the misspelled version can contact our Customer Service line at 650-350-6700 or by email at accounts@capcom.com and we’ll send you a new insert for your case,” said the publisher.
EGM’s TAKE: If you do decide to send off for a replacement cover then we suggest that you keep the original also. We expect these to be worth a fair bit in a few years when the majority have thrown there covers away after getting a new correctly spelled one. You will see it crop up in 5-10 years as a piece of gaming memorabilia, so hang on to them.
