Resident Evil 6 is only months away at this point, and to help wet your appetite, Capcom today showed off the game’s official cover art.

“We’re 130 days away from Resident Evil 6,” a Capcom rep said on Twitter along with the images. “Here’s the boxes to stir the excitement!”

The art is—hmm. It is indeed artwork, that’s for certain. I’m a fan of the “simple and stylish” direction for cover art for particular games—white background + logo works very well for the Final Fantasy franchise—but I’m just not sure I’m a fan of this particular design choice.
