Sega has announced the release date and price of Castle of Illusion‘s HD remake.

The game will be available worldwide from September 4, priced at 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 and $14.99 on PlayStation 3 and PC.

Castle of Illusion HD is said to be “a complete re-imagining” of the 1990 Mega Drive classic. It contains the original story line, but features updated graphics and all new gameplay mechanics.
