Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror Of Fate Now Delayed Until 2013
Posted on August 16, 2012 AT 06:58pm
It’s pretty fortunate that the Nintendo 3DS already has such a packed fall schedule, especially since it’s dropping a highly anticipated title this late into the game. Konami is officially pushing back the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate to 2013, although the publisher didn’t cite any specific reason for the delay.
Game Informer got the news just today, but not much more information aside from the launch date change.
For what it’s worth, many members of the video game press weren’t especially satisfied with preview builds of the game, citing Mirror of Fate‘s odd combat design and controls.
If the game is being pushed back for development tweaks, it’s possible that we may see some key gameplay adjustments in Mirror of Fate‘s next preview tour. Should that actually happen to be the case, we’ll report back on our impressions and compare the build we played last June to whatever Nintendo and Mercury Steam come up with next.
