PlayStation 4

After a few weeks of speculation, it has officially been announced that Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood is headed to PlayStation 4.

Konami announced today that the collection, which includes 1993’s Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and 1997’s Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, will launch exclusively on the PlayStation Store on October 26th. The game will retail for $19.99, but PlayStation Plus members that preorder the game will get 20 percent off.

According to the press release, both platformers will include 4K and 1080p upscaling, a variety of backgrounds and borders, and full trophy support. Sound, vibration, and analog stick support will also be available for the DualShock 4 wireless controller. To see both games in action, check out Konami’s brief trailer below.

While the collection has only been announced for PlayStation 4, there’s always a chance it could head to other platforms down the line. Considering the recent reveal that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will include several Castlevania characters, Konami and Nintendo could be waiting to announce a Switch port closer to the release of the brawler later this year.
