Chaos Rings RPG Finally Heads To Android Devices, Still Pretty Expensive

Just over two-and-a-half after the release of the original Chaos Rings for iPhone, the highly-touted Square Enix mobile RPG is making its way to Android devices. It’s definitely not cheap though.
Aside from taking up roughly 977 MB of space on your Google tablet or whatever Android machine you’re slinging around, Chaos Rings will make a serious dent in your Google wallet.
Clocking in at $12.99 a pop, it’s one of the more expensive apps in the Google Play market, and current user reviews don’t exactly seem overwhelmingly favorable.
At the time this article’s being written the game has a whopping 43 one-star reviews out of 81.
As per usual in the Google Play market, it seems to vary by device and user, but one complaint notes that the official Chaos Rings app won’t play on a rooted (jailbroken, so to speak) Android device.
Still, the price is nearly as steep as the iPad version, which sells in the App Store for $15.99. By far, the most expensive game in the series is Chaos Rings II, which raises the bar at an incredible 20-dollar price tag.
