Titanfall

Titanfall 2‘s upcoming Live Fire mode takes one of last year’s most fast-paced shooters and turns it up a notch, as evidenced by the mode’s new gameplay trailer.

Live Fire is a round-based mode that only lasts 60 seconds per round. Two teams of six pilots must duke it out to either capture the objective flag or eliminate the enemy team, and with respawning turned off, team elimination sounds like a more than viable option.

Two new maps, Stacks and Meadow, will accompany the release of Live Fire, complete with unique features like zip lines that complement the mode’s fast pace. The two new maps are specifically formatted for the mode’s particular style of play.

Live Fire will launch alongside the two maps in a free update coming sometime in February. The update will also include a new Coliseum arena, a new Pilot execution, and more.

Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
