The latest trailer for Ubisoft’s JRPG-inspired Child of Light shows off the various ways players can interact with each other and the world when playing the game in co-op.

As seen in the video (embedded below), the second player, controls the glowing orb of light and named Igniculus, who can roam about the screen to illuminate secrets and hidden paths, blind and stun enemies to evade combat, offer protection outside of combat by healing Lemuria, and help out during battles by collecting mana and health orbs, slowing down an enemy’s ATB briefly by blinding them, and when the party’s in a jam, replenishing their HP slightly.

Child of Light launches on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC digitally April 30.
