THE BUZZ: Recently, the PlayStation Blog announced that the PS1 versions of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI would be hitting the PlayStation Store as digital downloads. Unfortunately, somebody at Sony jumped the gun on that announcement, and the games did not in fact see release.
Now, however, one of those two releases are coming true. On that same PlayStation Blog, Square Enix themselves have announced that Chrono Trigger will be up for purchasing and downloading on October 4th. No announcement about Final Fantasy VI just yet, but no doubt it’ll be coming along soon as well.
EGM’s TAKE: Great to see Chrono Trigger go up, but should I be ashamed to say that I’m far more interested in seeing them get up Chrono Cross?
