City of Heroes Closure FAQ and Sunset Events Detailed

Paragon Studios has released an FAQ which aims to clarify the closure process of City of Heroes, the developer has also announced the official schedule for the game’s final events.

The FAQ reminds players that the game will officially shutdown on November 30 and from now on no new free-to-play accounts can be created and players can no longer upgrade to VIP status. There’s also a few details on subscription fee and Paragon Points refunds, you can read the full FAQ here.

Assistant Community Manager Jessie Lawrence took to the game’s official forums to post a schedule for the game’s final sunset events:

Summer Blockbuster: October 5 – October 8
Double XP: October 18 – October 22
Halloween Event: October 26 – October 29
Winter Event: November 9 – November 12
Rikti Invasion: November 23 – November 30
