Though his departure from Epic Games marks the end of an era largely associated with chainsaw guns, Cliff Bleszinski if far from finished with video games.
While speaking to G4′s Morgan Webb and Blair Herter about life in a post-Epic Games world, the prolific game developer said that starting a new studio was “not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when and with who.”
“Moving forward, I would like to work on something new and fresh and kind of redefine my legacy.”
A redefinition, it seems, that’s already underway. Toward the end of the interview, Bleszinksi mentioned how one of his favorite Transformers characters, Bluestreak/Silverstreak, is also the codename of a new IP he’s “gestating on slowly.”
