Square Enix will be holding a closed online test for Final Fantasy XV‘s multiplayer expansion, Comrades, next week.

The test will take place from August 3rd to August 8th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will allow players “to create their own custom avatars and join together with up to three others to participate in exciting multiplayer quests to bring the Light back to Lucis.” To take part in the test, players will need the game’s season pass and an Xbox Live Gold/PlayStation Plus subscription.

The closed online test version will contain a limited amount of content from the expansion, including the base camp and tutorial, three quests, limited ingredients, and the katana, club, dagger, and shuriken weapons.

More information about the difference between the test and full versions of the expansion can be found over on the official site.

An exact release date for Final Fantasy XV – Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades is yet to be announced.
