Although most artwork featuring Code of Princess‘ lead heroine is decidedly “R”-rated, the trailers for the upcoming 3DS title are thankfully far, far less obvious. Even the newest one is pretty tame.
(Previously, we noted the heavy use of lens flare use to cover up sexy protagonist Solange.)
With the newest gameplay trailer from Atlus, it looks like they’ve stopped hiding to hide their shame, which is actually kind of refreshing—it’s really not much to be all bothered about.
What does worry us is the actual 3DS gameplay, though. At E3, we noticed that the combat suffered from noticable slowdown during hectic battles, and it doesn’t look like even the official trailer can get away from that completely.
Hmm.
Hopefully, we’ll be able to tell you more when Code of Princess hits shelves on October 9th. I’m pretty sure that either Eric or Andrew—or resident JRPG experts—will probably have something to say about the localized release.
