While they maybe could have gone with a new that’s a bit more exciting—like, say, Company of Heroes: Company Harder or Company of Heroes 2: Electric Compaloo—a sequel to Relic Entertainment’s Company of Heroes is now official.

The announcement of Company of Heroes 2 comes as part of the cover story for the latest issue of PC Gamer, which NeoGAF member V_Ben posted a photo of over on the popular gaming forum. He also noted a few details about the game that were given: It’ll be released in 2013, the main campaign will have players playing as the Russians on the Eastern front, units will be able to vault over some cover, and Company of Heroes 2 will have “Lots of snow. Snow slows down troops and tanks, but can also form cover.”
