Conan O’Brien Doesn’t Understand The Plot Behind Resident Evil 6 Either
Posted on September 14, 2012 AT 01:25pm
Even Conan O’Brien is pretty much the atypical casual gamer, he’s getting better and better at dissecting video games during his “Clueless Gamer” segment. In fact, he’s even made few good points about Resident Evil 6.
While the rest of us (well, the rest of you) won’t be playing the demo—let alone the full game—for quite a while, the talk show host got to run through the first part of Leon campaign.
Impressively, Conan made a number of critical observations that a seasoned game review would notice:
- RE6‘s story is rife with plot holes
- Having your path blocked by a fallen chair is a ridiculous level design quirk
- It doesn’t deliver the zombies fast enough
- Interacting with your partner leaves a bit to be desired
Let’s also take a minute and establish that the new lizard-like enemies are freakin’ scary.
It’s worth watching, since this demo is apparently was exclusive to the show and covers some new footage from Leon and Jake’s campaigns. And if Conan could do so well in just a few minutes of gameplay, that’s encouraging for the rest of us in terms of the action and the new control schemes.
