While he’s still a Clueless Gamer when it comes to reviewing the latest titles, late night host Conan O’Brien decided to pay a visit to E3 2013 to look into the hubbub surrounding the upcoming next-gen consoles.

And check them out he did. Conan stopped by both the booths of Sony and Microsoft, getting hands-on time with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. His experience with both were very different—and no matter if it was a case of producer editing or simply what he was shown, that difference in presentation of the two systems is quite stark.

However, Conan doesn’t forget to give a little love to Nintendo as well, as he then makes a final journey to the Nintendo booth to see the latest and greatest offering for the Wii U. While there, he even got the chance to have a very special behind-the-scenes meeting. We’ve embedded a quick second video where Conan takes a moment to talk to Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto about his obsession with mustaches.
