THE BUZZ: The heroines of VectorCell’s Amy—Lana and her young companion Amy—aren’t the type to just grab a gun and blast away at their enemies. So, the duo has to use other methods to keep themselves alive in the various horrific situations they find themselves in.

In this new video, we get a taste of some of the methods Lana and Amy will use to avoid capture—or worse.

EGM’s TAKE: I’ve been wanting to get the chance to try out Amy for myself since seeing it at E3 last summer, so I’m glad to see that the game will finally be hitting PSN, XBLA, and PC early next year. (The trailer says “Fall 2011”, but its new release date is early 2012.)

I’m always down for a good survival horror game, especially one that isn’t just centered around heroes who aren’t trained professionals that can kill anything and everything in their path.
