Could Dawnguard be the Name of the First Skyrim DLC?

THE BUZZ: Bethesda parent company, Zenimax Media, has filed a new trademark for “Dawnguard,” sending the Internet into a tizzy that this could be the name of the first DLC for Skyrim.
The trademark is for ”computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles; downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices.”
Mythic Dawn Guards appeared in Oblivion and are members of the Mythic Dawn Cult.
Microsoft has secured a timed exclusivity on Xbox 360 for the first two DLC add-ons for Skyrim.
EGM’s TAKE: While the trademark could be for a new game, or just a place holder, it seems a little odd that the Dawn Guards have appeared in previous Elder Scrolls games. In gaming there aren’t too many times where things turn out to be mere coincidences. But we expect the first DLC for the game to be announced shortly, in fact is already a little later than we thought it would be.
