Valve has revealed that players who pre-purchase Counter-Strike: Global Offensive through Steam will gain early access to the game.

Pre-purchase the game on Steam and you’ll receive a 10 percent discount and gain access to the beta on August 14, its official release date is August 21. The game is also due to launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the same day.
