Valve has confirmed the official release date for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, narrowing down the previously mentioned August window.
The game will be available starting August 21, priced at $15. Global Offensive is the first game in the series to be released on consoles and was originally set to allow cross-platform play between PlayStation 3 and PC players. However, this was scrapped after several play tests discovered that PC players had an unfair advantage.
