Amazon recently started cancelling pre-orders for Crackdown 3, leading to worries that the game had been canned.
This led to GM of games marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg taking to Twitter to ease these fears. Greenberg confirmed to a fan that the team is still working hard on the game.
The team continues to work hard on the game for our fans, you should contact Amazon directly for any questions related to orders with them.

Usually, a few pre-orders being cancelled wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but considering that Microsoft previously pulled the plug on Scalebound far into development, it’s no surprise that a few fans were worried. However, it turns out that the pre-order cancellations were down to a technical error on Amazon’s part.
The last time we heard anything about Crackdown 3 was back in March when Xbox boss Phil Spencer revealed that a release date has been “locked in” internally and fans won’t have to wait too long to hear more about the game. Hopefully we’ll see more of the game and get a release date during Microsoft’s E3 press conference on June 10th.
Crackdown 3 is in development for Xbox One and PC.
