Crash Bandicoot fans will now have the chance to spin into Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC earlier than expected.
Activision has announced the upcoming ports of last year’s PlayStation 4-exclusive collection will now be launching on June 29th. Originally slated to arrive on July 10th, players will now be able to pick up the game two weeks earlier. The publisher said that “fan reaction to the news” of Crash’s remastered trilogy coming to Xbox One, Switch, and PC is what prompted it to push the release ahead.
The upcoming ports will include the first three games in the Naughty Dog series—Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped—with the option to purchase DLC that includes additional levels. Along with updated graphics, animations, textures, and cinematics, N. Sane Trilogy also features the ability to play as Crash’s sister, Coco, across all three games.
Later this year, Activision will be bringing another classic PlayStation character to the modern age. After months of rumors, the company recently announced Spyro Reignited Trilogy will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 21st. The collection will feature remasters of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available for PlayStation 4, with Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC versions launching on June 29th.
