Crimson Dragon will receive balance adjustments based on user feedback prior to it’s release tomorrow, game director Yukio Futatsugi revealed in a post on Xbox Wire.
“Crimson Dragon is designed to be challenging,” Futatsugi wrote. “This has always been my vision for the game. I want you to feel like you’ve accomplished something each time you master a mission. To be proud of each dragon you’ve worked so hard to evolve to its ultimate form. My challenge as the game director is to find the sweet spot of adhering to my vision for the game while keeping the game from becoming too frustrating.”
According Futatsugi, the rebalancing will increase the amount of experience points dragons get from battles, even failed ones; the cost of items and the available of jewels, which serve as in-game currency, have been lowered and raised respectively, and “Casual” and “Classic” difficulty modes have been adjusted to better match what their name conveys.
Crimson Dragon launches exclusively for Xbox One alongside the console itself tomorrow, November 22, in North America and Europe.
