Criterion Announces Jean-Luc Godard’s Weekend On DVD & Blu-ray

The Criterion Collection has announced that they’ll release a special edition of Jean-Luc Godard’s post-apocalyptic drama Weekend on DVD and Blu-ray on November 13.
Besides giving the film a digital restoration, both editions will include a new video essay by film critic Kent Jones, archival interviews with the cast and assistant director Claude Miller, an excerpt from a French TV show on Godard that includes on-set footage, the original trailers, and a booklet with an essay by critic and novelist Gary Indiana. In addition, the Blu-ray will include an uncompressed monaural soundtrack.
The DD will retail for $29.95 while the Blu-ray will be $39.95.
