Crowds Made Up Of Real People In inFamous: Second Son

Posted on May 26, 2013 AT 09:44pm

Sucker Punch has decided to give inFamous: Second Son‘s crowds a little more life than the usual video game by recruiting real people to play each person.

The developer took 75 friends, relatives, and professionals, and over three days scanned each of their faces using a complex camera set up to stick them in the game. Now this may offer a level of crowd detail never before seen in a video game, but it won’t stop you seeing the same people 50 times within the space of 10 minutes–there are only 75 of them after all.

You can check out a breakdown of the process along with some images over on Game Informer.
