Crysis 3 Maxes Out Consoles, Less Than One Percent Left

Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli has revealed that Crysis 3 will max out the power of both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 leaving less than one percent spare, so expect your console to explode when you start the game.

During a recent interview with VideoGamer, Yerli claimed that Crysis 3 is the most technically demanding title to ever release on current-gen consoles. “Crysis 3 is absolutely maxing out the consoles,” he said. “There is absolutely not even 1 percent left.”

“No game will ever look technically better than Crysis 3 on these consoles, flat out. Most games are not even anywhere near Crysis 2 technically,” he added. “I’m not talking about art style – art is subjective – but the pure fact of what we have been cramming in with Crysis 2 on Xbox and PlayStation, I’ve yet to see a game do that still today.”

Crysis 3 is due to release February 19 in the U.S. and February 22 in Europe for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
