THE BUZZ: EA has confirmed, via an announcement trailer, that Crysis will be coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3 next month.

In July the South Korea Game Rating Board approved Crysis for release on the Xbox 360, a few days later the US counterpart issued it’s own report suggesting a PlayStation 3 release could be imminent.

The trailer promises brand new features for consoles, including new lighting effects and new Nanosuit controls.

EGM’s TAKE: It remains to be seen if EA is making the right move in bringing Crysis to consoles or whether the port will be seen as little more than a quick cash-in by fans. What do you think?
