Crysis 3 developer Crytek confirmed CryEngine 3 will be used in development of PlayStation 4 games.
“Our CryEngine technology has always provided head-turning results across platforms,” said Carl Jones, Crytek’s director of global business development. “By supporting developers as they build for the future on PlayStation 4, we are cementing our position at the forefront of the industry and helping others to create the best games they can in this exciting period of transition.”
Crytek similarly announced CryEngine 3 support for the Xbox One in May.
Both consoles are slated to launch this fall.
