Crytek Working On New Game With EA – Crysis 3 Incoming?

THE BUZZ: A new job listing posted by EA has suggested that a new Crysis title may be in development.

The publisher is looking for a Video Director to work at partner studio Crytek to capture game footage. The job ad states that CryEngine knowledge would be a bonus.

Crysis 2 launched back in March 2011 and has since sold over 3 million copies worldwide.

EGM’s TAKE: Of course this may not have anything to do with Crysis at all, but the fact that Crytek has already stated that they fully intend to release Crysis 3 at some point does add some weight. Maybe we’ll see an E3 reveal. Considering EA is looking for a video director, it could be prepping an announcement trailer. Considering the success of the second title it wouldn’t be a shock for EA to want a sequel out as soon as possible.
