Last year, Microsoft launched its custom Xbox Design Lab, a store that lets shoppers customize the color of their Xbox One controllers and even add a personal name or message. It’s a pretty cool service, but unfortunately, Microsoft has just revealed that there are no plans to launch it outside of North America.

When asked on Twitter if Xbox fans in the U.K. would ever gain access to the service, Xbox marketing head Aaron Greenberg had to reply with a negative.

That doesn’t mean that all hope is gone, though. Greenberg did say that the team has heard fan feedback, which means that it’s possible the customized controllers could be shipped overseas—though probably not any time soon.

The custom controllers cost $79.99 each and can be seen at the Xbox Design Lab here. They’re currently available in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Custom Xbox One controllers won’t be launching in new regions yet

If you're outside of the handful of regions who can currently use the Xbox Design Lab, you'll have to keep waiting.
