The recent Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay reveal proved one thing: Developer CD Projekt Red sure knows how to make beautiful games. Simply walking around the gloriously detailed and artistically rendered Night City was almost more impressive than the actual gameplay.
Thankfully, it sounds like CDPR is looking at giving players a way to truly appreciate the hard work that went into making Night City as cool as it is, via a photo mode.
That’s according to the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, which responded to a fan’s request for photo mode by saying that it is “planning to have it.”
Aside from the actual gameplay reveal, which fans have been clamoring for ever since the developer debuted it behind closed doors at E3 2018, CDPR’s been announcing several player-friendly details about Cyberpunk 2077. Details like the lack of loading screens, the option to turn off damage numbers in combat, and the way that player choice will have actual consequences makes us excited to learn more about the developer’s follow-up to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. If the game can live up to the extremely high expectations that fans already have is yet to be seen, but CDPR seems to be making all the right decisions so far.
Despite the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is now playable from beginning to end, it’ll probably still be a while until we actually get to play it. The gameplay demo shown off was reportedly from a pre-alpha build.
Cyberpunk 2077 is in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
