Neil Druckmann, the creative director behind The Last of Us series and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, will take to the stage as a speaker at this year’s D.I.C.E. Summit.

10 Cloverfield Lane and Black Mirror director Dan Trachtenberg will host a discussion with Druckmann about “the creative process in crafting character-driven experiences for video games” during the 2018 D.I.C.E. Summit, which will take place in Las Vegas on February 20th to February 22nd.

Maja Moldenhauer, who was an executive producer and artist on Cuphead, will also appear as a speaker and will detail how team without “any traditional game development experience” created one of the best games of 2017. Cuphead was nominated for five D.I.C.E. Awards this year, including Game of the Year.

Microsoft gaming chief Phil Spencer will deliver the keynote address at this year’s Summit, which will also include speakers from Baobab Studios, Bossa Studios, and Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab.

Michael Goroff has been gaming for almost three decades. He's a lover of all games and systems, but he mostly plays Xbox. That being said, if he's a fanboy, he's a fanboy for the game industry as a whole. Spit white-hot fanboy hate at him, trash talk his Gold II rank on Rocket League, or maybe just send him a cordial hello on Twitter @gogogoroff.
