YouTube user “Distortion2” has uploaded a new speed run video for Dark Souls II that shows him completing the game in 20 minutes and 14 seconds.

The video above is the closest that the player has got to completing the game in under 20 minutes. Of course there is a lot of glitching and exploiting going on in the run, such as glitching through a mountain to skip half the game, and using the binoculars to run super fast.

“While some of its features and design decisions might not sit perfectly with all fans of the franchise, Dark Souls II once again proves how enthralling and engrossing From Software’s formula of skill-focused combat, demanding challenge, and bleak ambience can be,” Eric L. Patterson wrote in our Dark Souls II review.
