Dark Souls Online Servers Return Today

THE BUZZ: Online functionality is expected to return to Dark Souls today, along with a new patch to fix any bugs discovered since the Japanese launch.
From Software chose to completely shut the only servers down after a number of game breaking bugs were discovered in online play. Patch 1.02 will be released at some point today bringing with it a number of bug fixes.
EGM’s TAKE: At least everything will be fixed in time for the North American and European launches.
