Dark Souls

THE BUZZ: Rich Bantegui, Namco Bandai Games Community Manager, recently tweeted out to his followers that the players can still expect a patch to Dark Souls. Bantegui could not say when players can expect the update, but did state that there has been a number of updates done to improve the multiplayer aspect.

EGM’s TAKE: Have you ever played Dark Souls? The cult-like frenzy that game evokes should be music to Namco’s ears. It would be smart to support the game for as long as possible. Of course, most gamers that are enthralled by this brutal role playing game will swear every bug, glitch, and oddity of the gameplay is done on purpose, and give it character, so for some this may be more of a curse than a blessing.
