In a new trailer released by Namco Bandai, Dark Souls fans have gotten what they’ve been waiting for—confirmation that the new content from the upcoming PC “Prepare to Die” version will indeed be coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.

Excuse me for a moment while I say YEEEEEEEEEEES!

As a huge Dark Souls fan, this announcement makes me outrageously happy. I mean, I knew this announcement was coming—not because somebody told me, but because there’s no way it wouldn’t be coming—but I’m still glad to have any doubt wiped from my mind.

The DLC will be titled Artorias of the Abyss, and—according to IGN—the DLC will be coming “sometime this winter” in North America for $14.99 on PS3 and 1200 MS Points on the Xbox 360.

It seems that Europe and Australia, however, will be getting new Prepare to Die Edition physical releases for the Xbox 360 and PS3—also coming this winter.
